DTrade Information Center

DTrade is a fully-electronic defense export licensing system. DDTC is prepared to receive and adjudicate defense export authorization requests properly submitted by any U.S. person who is a defense trade registrant and wishes to permanently export unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-5, temporarily import unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-61, or temporarily export unclassified defense articles via the Form DSP-73. Based on envisioned expansion of electronic processing capabilities, DDTC anticipates, with few exceptions, most export licensing submissions via DTrade in the near future.

DTrade Notices:

	Industry Notice: The Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) systems will undergo network maintenance on Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 8:00am until 8:00pm EST. During this time the DTrade system will be unavailable to accept submissions. EFS, TRS, ELLIE and MARY will be unavailable. 	Industry Notice: DTrade SHA 256 Digital Certificates - The DDTC technology department is working to ensure DTRADE2 is SHA-256 digital certificate compliant by December 30, 2013. Further SHA-256 digital certificate guidance from DDTC will be provided by September 2013. Should your digital certificate require renewal prior to December 30, 2013 please ensure you are purchasing the SHA-1 digital certificate that is compatible with DTRADE2 from your ACES GSA authorized vendor. 	Industry Notice: New Version 6.0 of DSP Forms 5, 6, 61, 62, 73, and 74 are now available for use. Please, download and use the most current version (version 6.0) of DSP forms - 5, 6, 61, 62, 73, and 74 for submission to DTrade2. (03.29.13) Note: Form version 5.0 or earlier submissions will be rejected after March 29, 2013.
	Digital Certificate: If you have an IdenTrust digital certificate and experienced a failure in digitally signing DSP forms or logging on to DTrade on or after 09/14/2011 please Click here. (11.27.11)
	Windows 7 Users Note: You must use Lotus Forms Viewer in order to digitally sign DSP applications for submission. See the link on this page to download this viewer under the heading DTrade Form Viewer.
