Security Notice - Foreign Government Classifications

Please note that according to the current Foreign Affairs Manual, the U.S. Department of State recognizes and honors all foreign government classification markings. All documents submitted to DDTC with foreign government classification markings should be treated as classified material and be transmitted in the same manner as U.S.-origin classified documents.

Pursuant to guidance by the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, as of February 3, 2005, DDTC will treat all documents marked "UK-Restricted" as Sensitive-But-Unclassified (SBU).
