Will DDTC authorize "deemed exports" of EAR technology or software source code? What about deemed re-exports?
A:
Use of paragraph (x) is limited to license applications for defense articles where the purchase documentation includes commodities, software, or technical data subject to the EAR. To the extent that this requirement is met, DDTC will authorize "deemed exports."
